The deer was hit by a car coming the opposite direction at 08:24 just out of my view as i was making a turn onto Westside Road. I stopped to take a picture and drag it off the road, but it was still alive, unconscious, heaving softly. I couldn't find a way to kill it, and I didn't want to drag it alive, so I left it. I returned ten minutes later, and it was dead and dragged to the shoulder.
