Vineyards on East side road, Wildwood Nursery & Art Gallery on West side of road. Wire mesh fencing apx. 6 feet high West side about 50 feet from road, no fencing on East side. Walnut trees on both sides of road. Hare appeared to be preparing to cross road from West to East side; impact appeared to be at the outer white SB lane line; hare was thrown apx. 15 feet SW of impact sight. Moved body further off to side of road onto grass for scavenger safety.
