Thought squirrel was possibly alive and a truck was coming, so removed from road before taking photo, however, she was already dead (young female). Body was still very warm. She must have been hit a few minutes before I found her. Placed her on grass on West side of road. Wire fencing and vineyards on both side of road. Small seasonal creek apx. 25 feet South of where body found.
