Observation Date / Time

Right after I took picture of squirrel laying in road (he appeared to be dead and there was blood present), I put a glove on to move him to side of road, looked up and HE WAS STANDING UP in the road. I quickly picked him up (he was in major shock), covered him in my scarf and put him in small crate in car covered with towel. Put heat on and drove to Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue. Checked once on the way and he was still breathing. He was checked in as patient #805. When I left, he was still in crate resting and I believe was put on oxygen. Will be following up tomorrow to find out what his condition is, if he survived, and will report update soon.
