Observation Date / Time

Large buck found on road at creek underpass choked with blackberry brambles and blocked with barbed wire fencing on both sides. Trail camera located on tree on East side of underpass entrance. Even if this had been a clear pass for buck to cross under, it appears that it would not been tall enough for him to use bc of his ample antlers. Called Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue to advise of the buck's body if they wanted to pick it up to be used as food for ambassador animals. It appears that it was killed late last night. Animal was eviscerated from impact with vehicle. Also, note picked up garbage on way back to car and put in large empty plant container also dumped on roadside. Weather at time of observation: 63 degrees F, sun with some high fog.
