Body was badly mangled. I think it's a young bobcat based on the size of paws, the nose, ears and lack of a long tail and general shape. I believe there is a wildlife crossing under the highway in this area with a motion sensor camera hooked up, but I don't know if it's in a condition which wildlife can easily pass as, from above at least, there is a great deal of blackberry brambles.
