San Antonio Rd. E; ~2.3 mi. W C.135; Lompoc, E bd lane, Brush grassland/ riparian, Adult male (hp) only rear half (~40 cm) on road’s edge: keeled scales, tail not cut but no rattle (only first ‘bud’), Looks oldish, flesh turning green ~1wk +. Xd, Fs d. TV on rd when I arrived.
Also on rd ~5-10 yds W same lane fresh stain on rd. and fresh looking raquis, no skin; almost clean of flesh but still red; several pieces add to ~40 cm. Presumably same individual that was part skinned.
