‘5053’ Ca 166, W of New Cuyama. W bd lane. Suburban/ agro, field. Large snake, incomplete, quite battered, but clearly recent, pliable skin, red flesh, etc. Ravens scavenging. The id. is difficult: I am not familiar with racers. Smooth brown body, pinkish belly. Brown head with white labials, but quite broken, so hard to see details. Rd; nb; xt, fs d. Ex: 'Racer, BG'
