Ca 246, ~0.3 mi. E Sweeney Rd., Lompoc. E bd W-line. Agro, leaky pumping system, brush/ water-treatment plant. Very fresh. Partly flattened Carapace ~13.5 mm by aprox 110 mm. Xd, fs d. I walked both shoulders of about 0.4 mi of this stretch of road May 04 searching for more turtles but found none (other things see mic #908-910). Concentration might be a combination of source (open ponds of water plant) and attraction of fresh water (leaky pump).
