Observation Date / Time

Deer lying on asphalt shoulder of northbound lane w/dirt strip at base of property with deer-proof fencing (this is very high fencing material which is too high for deer to jump over; typically used in local vineyards and some home gardens. Some local roadways even have it erected on both sides of the roads!!) Opposite side of this road is open treed fields with natural landscaping and vegetation. Most properties here are ranchettes on acreage, with and/or without restrictive fencing. (this kind of fencing out to be outlawed! - sr)
