Deer lying on northbound freeway shoulder alongside elevated onramp to Curbaril St. This side of freeway (east) bordered by large, drainage wash with much natural vegetation and behind Albertson's grocery store and with chain link fencing. Opposite side of freeway (west side) with chain link fencing separating back properties of residential neighborhoods. Deer commonly seen on west side, but seldom on east side due to freeway fencing. Deer signs posted along this stretch of roadway but largely ignored by drivers.
