Subadult, unsexed. Low curb in median of divided road, chain-link fences at both shoulders. Local habitat is coastal scrub, salt-marsh, golf course, and industrial.
The pelt of this specimen has been mangled and twisted to the point where it could confuse an observer for as a Western Spotted Skunk. After unraveling the remaining skin, I could positively identify it as a Striped Skunk.
