Much less than 3 hours from being struck. Other Park employees drove by 10 minutes earlier and it had not been struck yet. Being eaten by Common Ravens (Corvus corax) and Turkey Vultures (Cathartes aura) Size of carcass indicates Black-tailed Jackrabbit. Sparse vegetation dominated by Atriplex hymenelytra (Desert holly), Larrea tridentata (Creosote), and Erigonum inflatum (Desert trumpet). Weather: 0% cloud cover, 1-3 mph winds, 61 degrees Fahrenheit.
