Broken neck with some blood still dripping from the head. Minor damage to the remainder of the carcass. Several people witnessed the event. I was about 2 minutes behind the car that struck this Greater Roadrunner. East side of the road has Moderate vegetation dominated by Larrea tridentata (Creosote), Atriplex hymenelytra (Desert holly), Erigonum inflatum (Desert trumpet), and Nerium oleander (Oleander). Weather: 1% cloud cover, 3-7 mph winds, 59 degrees Fahrenheit.
