Several other roadkills have happened on this on-ramp since August (16310, 16021, 16052, 16468). It is a hot-spot. Autos are curving into the on-ramp, there is a slight crest, and there may be headlights on 20 coming from a different direction. This must confuse the animals and surprise the drivers at the last moment when they are concentrating on merging with traffic.
