Crushed, ground into the asphalt. Had Prosopis glandulosa (Honey Mesquite) seeds in the center of the 'body' where the overlying tissue had been removed. Some seeds had tissue above and below them. Identification based on pelage color and overall size. Sparse vegetation dominated by Atriplex hymenelytra (Desert holly), Larrea tridentata (Creosote), and Erigonum inflatum (Desert trumpet). Weather: 0-5% cloud cover, 0-5 mph winds, 61 degrees Fahrenheit.
