Crushed and flattened, had four toes most likely Dipodomys merriami. Flies were laying eggs. Sparse vegetation dominated by Atriplex hymenelytra (Desert holly), Larrea tridentata (Creosote), and Erigonum inflatum (Desert trumpet). Weather: 0-5% cloud cover, 0-5 mph winds, 79 degrees Fahrenheit.
