Minor damage to male carcass. Body length was 5.0 in, tail length was 2.0 in, total length was 7.0 in. There was still wet blood on the asphalt. They corneas were starting to dry. Rigor mortis was beginning to set. Sparse vegetation dominated by Atriplex hymenelytra (Desert holly), Larrea tridentata (Creosote), and Erigonum inflatum (Desert trumpet). Weather: clear, 0-5 mph winds, 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
