These flagged ones are a sort of sub-study we're doing this week, to see how long the corpses last on the road (how many get carried away by tires etc.)
Flag #7 had neither of its 2 newts anymore, so I marked 2 Xs on the flag and left it in place. It was nearish the HTH study area extended boundary (pink flag), but they hadn't been by yet to collect at this time today so unless they collected it after initial flagging yesterday, they vanished on their own.
