Lots of deer drama yesterday. My pup found this roadkilled youngster during a walk. I returned that evening to set a game camera and there was a doe with twins that were this same size, and she was really interested in this one, getting right up close to it, so I suppose it may have been one of triplets. And while she was trying to sniff around this dead deer, a big ol' buck was VERY interested in her, chasing her around and bleating. I'll include a terrible photo from the fading twilight of them, just because.

Lastly, the roadkilled deer appeared to have a bit of sleigh foot on its hind left toes. Apparently this can be caused by some sort of nutritional imbalance. The other three limbs, however, looked perfectly normal.
