Condition
Dead
Animal
Southern Alligator Lizard
Observation Date / Time
Found dead on a bikig/hiking trail. Because of the plumpness of the whole body, it does not appear to be road kill. Could it be the work of felis catus? I often see cats lurking and resting along this section of the trail. Would an injured lizard of this species assume this curled position as a defensive posture?
