Newts 2-4 of 11
Three newts were hiding in the crevice at the base of a bay tree. This one looked like a juvenile compared to the other two.
* Warty, slate-gray skin on its back and bright orange-yellow skin underneath.
* The eyes have patches of yellow
* When seen from above, the eyes of T. torosa extend to or past the margin of the head.
* The lower eyelids of T. torosa are light in color.
