Headed out for early morning drive with the kids not necessarily expecting to see anything so I was surprised to see a snake on side of road. First ever gopher snake in the wild, this one was recently hit but still alive so I caught it and took a few pics and moved off the road, but I'm guessing it probably ended up dying. Too bad nice big one probably about 3.5-4ft.
