Observation Date / Time
Heavily-traveled two-lane highway traverses San Diego National Wildlife Refuge here. This is the site of several cat casualties, including a mountain lion. Riparian strip along Steele Canyon Creek rises to near grade level, and there are riparian oaks visible on the other side. I did not personally observe this cat, but this photo and time and location details were shared with me by a co-worker.
