Observation Date / Time
First reported at 0915 a.m. by a DEVA employee returning to the Park. NPS Law Enforcement Ranger was on scene around eleven a.m. He reported that 'the sheep was a young ram and dead upon arrival.' The rest of the herd was on the slopes above the young ram watching as cars stopped. CHP and Caltrans also reported this sheep to Park staff about that same time.
