Definitely less than three hours, vegetation was still bright green and all wounds were still oozing. Crushed, moderate damage. Measurements are: Snout-to-vent 40 mm, tail >48 mm; tail was broken during removal from the road. Sparse vegetation dominated by Atriplex hymenelytra (Desert holly), Larrea tridentata (Creosote), and Erigonum inflatum (Desert trumpet). Weather: 60% cloud cover, 0-3 mph winds, 101 degrees Fahrenheit.
