- bobcat lying on bridge (shoulder) about 20 feet from where it contacts the main highway. Both sides of concrete 2-lane bridge are raised approx. 3 ft, with no way for trapped animal wandering onto bridge to exit. Also noted gray squirrel also hit and lying approx. 10 feet away. No trees nearby, so maybe bobcat had been in pursuit of squirrel when both were hit by car(s)
