Adult male with slight damage to the body. Rigor mortis was evident. The body is 6.0 inches long, tail lengh is 3.5 inches, shoulder girdle is 2.0 inches. Observed near a 'riparian zone' in the park. Vegetation: Prosopis glandulosa (Honey mesquite), Phragmites australis (Phragmites), Pluchea sericea (Arrowweed), Distichlis spicata (Salt grass), and Anemopsis californica (Yerba mansa) are the dominate species. Weather: clear, 5-10 mph winds, 116 degrees Fahrenheit.
