Adult non-breeding plumage, unsexed. Kill site across the road from Moss Landing State Wildlife Area. Skin removed from neck and pelvis during collisions, NOT from scavenging, as careful examination showed no loss of subdermal tissue from any type of avian or mammalian scavenging.
