Moved body to side of road on cement embankment behind guardrail at seasonal creek overpass just North of body location. Must have just been killed as dove was still warm. Observed single dove nearby on wire above. May have been mate. Several American Crows cawing in vicinity possibly preparing to scavenge dove's body. When returning in evening, dove's body was gone from embankment.
