Appears female turtle was traveling from the pond to upland habitat to lay her eggs. Speed limit is 15 mph but people are constantly speeding on this road as well as the side roads killing many wildlife such as squirrels, snakes, and lizards. Weather conditions were clear/sunny with no barriers for movement.
