Calabazas Creek crosses under Sonoma Highway apx. 25 feet South of body location. Moved further away from road near grass for scavenger safety. Wire fencing, some possibly with barbs on both sides of road. Not sure how accessible creek underpass is for wildlife. It appears to be a very large underpass, but not sure whether fences from various properties restrict wildlife movements. Calabazas Creek flows into Sonoma Creek at Arnold Drive in Glen Ellen. (Stuart Creek, being restored by Sonoma Land Trust, flows into the Calabazas before it meets up with Sonoma Creek.)
