Opossum found in NB lane in area where Striped Skunk found yesterday (had moved skunk to East side of road but, some remains were still in the road). Evidence that Opossum had been scavenging body on side of road. Moved Opossum's body to side of road near skunk. Seasonal creek passes under road apx. 25 feet North of body location. Wire fence on East side of road and wooden fence blocking wildlife movement on creek bed on West side of road. Weather at time of observation: 48 degrees F, high scattered clouds.
