This was a young coyote. Had severe head and upper body trauma. No fences on either side of road. East side is grassy field with eucalyptus trees along the road and West side of road is vineyards. Weather at time of observation: 70 Degrees F and sunny. Moved body further off side of road for predator safety. There are no underpasses nearby.
