Female skunk appeared to be nursing. Left note on mailbox (on the way home in evening) at 12800 Sonoma Hwy., where her body was, letting them know that if they hear skunk kit cries and find den, I can transport to Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue (thought I'd at least try something). Weather was 63 degrees and sunny. Wire fenced vineyards and Quarryhill Botanical Gardens on East side of road.
