On Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 0830 hrs, a motorist stopped at Bighorn Institute's office to report a dead bighorn ram along Hwy 74 near Vista Point. We immediately responded and found a dead yearling ram just below Vista Point on the Deep Canyon side of the road. The carcass was relatively fresh and whole, but both hind legs were broken. The ram was likely hit by a vehicle early that morning.
