Alisos Cyn Rd., ~3.5 mi N I.101, Los Alamos. S bd lane. Oak savanna, riparian/ oak savanna. Large adult, lying motionless with it’s mouth stuck to rd., probably stunned but still ALIVE: after a minute or two it re-accommodated it’s jaws, writhed a little, lifted it’s head and took off to the shoulder and beyond into a gully, fast, smoothly. It might very well survive, so technically this would be a road- “hit” rather than a kill. A second vehicle would have killed it, though. Fs.
