This is a private paved road with a speed limit of 15 mph within the E & J Gallo Winery Vineyards. The areas on both sides of the road are planted in vineyards, with a row of Cork Oaks along the south side. This bird was found under the sixth oak tree west of Weir Road. During the winter White-crowned Sparrows are common.
Specimen was collected and provided to the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History for placement into the museum's Vertebrate Zoology, Ornithology scientific collection.
