Sparse vegetation dominated by Sagebrush/Blackbrush/Rabbitbrush, Larrea tridentata (Creosote), and Erigonum inflatum (Desert trumpet). Weather: 0% cloud cover, 5-10 mph winds, 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Rock Wrens and Black-throated Sparrows were present on both sides of the highway.
