Sparse vegetation dominated by Atriplex hymenelytra (Desert holly), Larrea tridentata (Creosote), and Erigonum inflatum (Desert trumpet). Weather: 30% cloud cover, 0-1 mph winds, 114.8 degrees Fahrenheit. Within 12 feet of a second Zebra-tailed lizard roadkill.
