Crushed and flattened into asphalt; extensive damage; tail folded into body, upper portion was not visible. Measurements are: Snout-to-vent 100+ mm, tail 45+ mm. Sparse vegetation dominated by Atriplex hymenelytra (Desert holly), Larrea tridentata (Creosote), and Erigonum inflatum (Desert trumpet). Weather: 30% cloud cover, 0-1 mph winds, 114.8 degrees Fahrenheit. Within 12 feet of a second Zebra-tailed lizard roadkill.
