Crushed, definately fur, very small piece left on the road. Identification based on color, and size of blood splatter. Sparse vegetation dominated by Atriplex hymenelytra (Desert holly), Larrea tridentata (Creosote), and Erigonum inflatum (Desert trumpet). Weather: 50% cloud cover, 10-20 mph winds, 71 degrees Fahrenheit. The cloud cover is really a dust storm blowing through from the North.
