Photos taken on 28 Nov after carcass had been smashed. Appeared to be an immature. A second raccoon of about the same size was on the left shoulder out of the picture to the left. It appears that both were hit in the left, oncoming lane.Note the steep embankment on the N. side of road and broad pullout on the S.
