Moderate damage to body, blood visible in two locations on breast, crushed beak, and a broken neck. Body skipped twice on road prior to landing on the road shoulder. Sparse vegetation dominated by Atriplex hymenelytra (Desert holly), Larrea tridentata (Creosote), and Erigonum inflatum (Desert trumpet). Weather: 100% cloue cover, 0-5 mph winds, 57 degrees Fahrenheit.
