Weather warm, south breeze, clear. Carcass on south bound CR 103 a couple feet inside the fog line. The bird is a juvenile, probably the brancher stage. There is a very large egret rookery in the eucalyptus grove on the east side of the road. I'm not sure how it got on the road. Premature fledging or carried by a predator?
