Weather: calm, clear, warm. This is a fresh roadkill. Fluids still fresh. The eggs from the hen were forced out, about 16 inches from carcass. The chicken probably came from the farm-house a few hundred feet to the east. No barriers. Agricultural fields to the northeast and to the west. Eucalyptus grove on the SE corner of the intersection. The carcass was just south of CR 30, on the south bound lane, along the fogline.
