Current weather: 100% overcast, cool, slight breeze. East side of road had a ditch with blackberry bushes and young oaks. The west side of the road is dirt with a young olive orchard adjacent. Many robins were flying back and forth from the oaks to the orchard, flying low and fast over the road. The bird had been hit hard and the guts splattered about 18 inches on the pavement. The bird was in the north bound lane.
