Observation ID: 200075

Adding an old observation of a western fence lizard that was found outside my back door, with its tail present but separated and, apparently, covered in yellow paint. I have no idea where the yellow paint came from and there was no paint trail. My best guess is that it walked across fresh road paint and was picked up, then dropped, by a bird.
