Observation ID: 199178

Deceased fox, middle of Silverado Trail roadway, in a stretch including a blind curve. Due to heavy traffic I couldn't get any closer to this individual safely. It is limp not bloated, I am guessing possibly killed within the past 12 hours. Low moonlight due to moon phase, no overcast over night. There is a creek on the west side of this road, in the direction the fox is facing. The east side of the road is oak woodland and some vineyard development/ranching.
