This is part of a sub-study to see if/how many newts disappear from the road between surveys.
@merav, I'm not sure what all fields or project to add this to, but wanted to get them up asap.
This newt was flagged by @merav. On my way back from the rest of the patrol, I looked but couldn't find the newt anywhere logical near the flag. Then found it on the other side of the road, apparently blown away since it's a dry cracker. While Merav and I were texting about how to handle this, a quarry truck came by, and the newt was gone. I didn't do an exhaustive search, but it was nowhere to be seen on the road in the vicinity in either direction. Right there, before our very eyes, the thing that we were studying happened. So this newt is probably not on the road any more, I removed the flag and am posting as a reminder to make sure it's counted.
